All patient written records must be entered into the database as part of the responsibilities of this position in order for the attending physician to focus on patient care. The scribe completes all of the papers simultaneously.

Primary duties of medical scribe include: 

  • Creating and putting together medical record data and charts for the doctor are among the duties of a medical scribe.
  • Updating patient history, physical exam results, and other relevant health data
  • Arranging and forwarding all supporting papers to the doctor for review
